How pickup works here
Highway 371, Highway 2 and I-94 feed these markets down toward the metro and then south. In some weeks the better plan is a metro meeting point rather than waiting for a truck to come north.
Winter
Snow season starts earlier and ends later here than in the metro. Late October is the realistic window for a comfortable southbound pickup.
